Welcome to the first post of 2013 & here's to a whole new year of outdoor fun. We only went back to school yesterday so this week I'm just posting a couple of photos to show what the children got up to on their first day back after almost 2 weeks off.
They were all delighted to see each other again & exchange chat about what they had received for Christmas. As it began to rain several got on their rain gear & headed off to explore the grass mud area. Thanks to some advice from another colleague I took delivery of some Christmas tree branches to put down on the mud to make the area even more 'forest-like'.

I look at your play areas and it reminds me so much of J's nursery - May offer them our Christmas tree instead of shreading it to add to the "forest" floor. He's not back till Wednesday though

DeleteLove how they're using the milk crates as seats; they look completely comfortable outside in the garden! This weekend, I'm going to set up a water play section on the patio, The Boy will love it!
